What is Echinacea?
Echinacea is an ancient herbaceous plant that grows on the prairies of moist soil. Echinacea is considered the birthplace of North America. It is known for its ancient and modern use in medicine, horticulture and beekeeping. The genus of this incredible herb includes 22 species, usually used in medicine is the purple echinacea (Echinacea purpurea). It is an extremely valuable tool in medicine because of its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties.
The colors and roots of echinacea contain a large amount of essential oils. The glucoside echinacoside found in its roots is a polysaccharide of the heteroglycan family, it is its main antimicrobial and antiviral component. Echinacosides are particularly complexes of glucose and caffeic acid. They have a stimulating and activating effect by neutralizing inflammation and improving overall cell function. Echinacea is also rich in other biologically active components - fatty acids, polyphenols, terpenoids, tannins (anti-inflammatory), amino acids, enzymes. In addition, Echinacea has a high content of minerals - calcium, potassium, sulfur, iron, chromium, manganese, cobalt, zinc, and selenium.
Main benefits of Echinacea for the body:
Regular intake of Echinacea as a dietary supplement ensures:
Strong immunostimulatory effect Antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal action Helps to increase immunity and shorten disease period Helps reduce risk of respiratory infections Helps protect against viruses and colds.
To strengthen the immune system
Immune depletion and bacterial entry are the main drivers for the development of viruses and infections. Echinacea is positive in the fight against various pathogens through its antiviral and immunostimulating effects. Its composition is extremely reactive to the inflammatory processes of the body. It acts as a natural immunostimulant by aiding the body's positive immune response
This is because of the ability of echinacea to activate immune functions through enhanced stem cell production in bone marrow and lymphatic tissue. Counteracts bacterial and viral infections by activating interferon production.
Interferon in turn suppresses the development of the virus cellularly and thus has a major contribution to the body's immune defenses. In fact, interferon interacts with viral cells. By attaching to infected cells, it stimulates their degradation and blocks their ability to spread. Therefore, when the reproductive viral ability is stopped, the infectious process stops or decreases its continuation. Its natural ability not only triggers healing, but also stimulates the body's defenses.
Echinacea helps against fungi and herpes
Echinacea has been proven with its anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and antifungal action, which helps in many ways the functions of the body. Echinacea boosts immune powers and promotes fungal healing. Unlike many antibiotic preparations, echinacea is distinguished by its valuable ingredients, which are many times more harmful to the body. This inevitably saves the natural forces needed to deal with infections and protects the body.
Herpes is a large section, part of a viral infection and is distinguished into two main types: oral and genital. Their occurrence is associated with acute symptoms such as rashes, itching, unpleasant odor, burning, redness and dryness. Characteristic of herpes is that they deform the selected site and usually recur. Echinacea is an excellent tool for the prevention and reduction of the duration of common (oral) herpes virus infection.
Echinacea against diseases of the female genital system
Inflammatory processes in the female genitalia are characterized by aggressiveness, progressiveness and recurrence. It is common practice for such diseases to be administered antibiotic treatment, but often it results in a relapse of the infectious process. The recurrence of such infections is usually treated for a longer period and is more severe. Inflammations such as vulvitis, vaginitis, bartholinitis, endometritis, trichomoniasis and other similar infections are usually caused by a bacterium that has come in.Depending on many factors, these inflammatory processes can be acute or chronic. In most cases, they occur without marked symptoms and this makes them extremely dangerous, so there is a great possibility that they will not be clarified in a timely manner, which further complicates the cure. Echinacea is distinguished among many natural and medicinal remedies. Its properties give good results in inflammatory processes in the female genitalia.Echinacea has the qualities by which it provides an immunostimulatory, antiviral and antifungal effect. Echinacea extract promotes these and many other functions of the body, improving their performance. Infections of the female reproductive system are strongly associated with a positive immune response. Echinacea has also been shown to have the ability to boost immune forces and promote fungal healing.
